For 13 years we watched our families grow and change.   When I met June her wonderful granddaughters were little and my daughter was is college.   My daughter is 37 now and her graddaughters are in college.  So much has happend to our lives in 13 years.  I was between June and her daughters in age and so she and I  we were able to bring different outlooks to our friendship.   She told me that I was her connection to Pop Culture (my daughter got a laugh out of that).  Well she was my connection to a different world also.   She was a lady in every sense and had a great wit.   She was so clever with words.   My husband and I often quoted her as "Junisms".  She was one with nature and brought a gentleness to it.  She was such a gentle person.

I have a picture of my dog Tallulah with her head on June's lap.   There was a love affair between the two of them also.  Tallulah waited for June every Monday at the door as I did.

I will miss this beautiful lady.   I wish that I had been able to say "goodbye" to her.

Condolences to her family and all the people that she touched.
